Sacai x Blazer Mid Snow Beach

Set to be one of the most coveted releases of 2019, sacai’s collaboration with Nike has not come without its hiccups. Now, after a delayed European release of the long-anticipated double-everything LD Waffle in green and blue (which promptly sold out), both these and the “Snow Beach” and “Legend Blue” Blazers just received their first wider US release today, May 30.

First debuted in sacai’s SS19 Paris runway show, designer Chitose Abe’s doubled-up Swooshes, laces, and tongues are said to represent the ideas of stability and betrayal, for something unexpected. The Blazer mid combines the Nike Dunk and Blazer, with all the aforementioned doubles plus Nike x Sacai co-branding on the heel tab.
